In corporate worship, we unite ourselves with others to acknowledge the holiness of God, to hear God's Word,to offer prayer, and to celebrate the sacraments.
Worship
Our Liturgy is eucharistically centered using Rite II service from the Book of Common Prayer, with a broad ceremonial style. We appreciate and enjoy a variety of worship experiences that are Christ centered and reflect the beauty and flexibility of our Anglican tradition.
All baptized Christians are welcomed by Prince of Peace to recieve Holy Communion.
The ministers of the Church are lay persons, bishops, priests, and deacons. The ministry of lay persons is to represent Christ and his Church; to bear witness to him wherever they may be; and, according to the gifts given them, to carry on Christ's work of reconciliation in the world; and to take their place in the life, worship, and governance of the Church.
Layministry
We place an emphasis on the layministry at Prince of Peace. Parishioners serve in many roles during worship, including (but not limited to) Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Intercessor and Acolyte.
If you are interested in becoming a layminister, please contact Father Joe, Deacon Chris or the Church Office.
